SYMPTOMS When creating a new job, and naming the new backup job name, then by clicking Next, you receive the following error message Failed to set job filename
RESOLUTION: This error appears when the Backup Job Name contains the following characters: \ / | * : < > . ? Therefore, simply remove these characters from the Backup Job Name and then you can continue successfully.
