GBM
9.0 can automatically import scheduled tasks created from GBM 6.0, GBM 7.0 and GBM 8.0;
however the imported tasks will have limitations:
1.
Will not run while user is logged off:
Due to Security reasons, GBM will not be able to import your windows login
username and password that are necessary to run backups when logged off.
2.
You cannot edit it directly from GBM:
Since GBM has changed the whole infrastructure of the scheduled tasks
component, old scheduled will not appear in the GBM scheduler; however, you may
view and edit them from Windows Scheduled Tasks.
Recommendations:
It
is recommended that you delete these scheduled tasks if you wish to edit them
inside GBM or run while user is logged off. This is performed by going to
Control Panel> Scheduled tasks> Right click the scheduled task and click
“Delete” and then edit your backup jobs and create scheduled backups using the
enhanced GBM Scheduler.
