SYMPTOMS: Genie Timeline is not backing up Outlook (.PST files) even though they have a 'green indicator' that they are. RESOLUTION: Genie Timeline backs up Outlook file using Block Level Technology in which Genie Timeline divides the .PST file into blocks and after the first full backup, only new and modified blocks will be backed up to save space and time. Genie Timeline saves these blocks in the _BL folder in the backup folder (_Genie Timeline) located in the backup drive and you can always view and restore your emails using "Timeline Explorer" and the "Advanced restore" wizard.
