I recently upgraded from GBM Home, Pro or Server. I had expected the new version to be installed over the previous version, but that did not happen. Do I need to keep the previous version or can I safely uninstall it?

I recently upgraded from GBM Home, Pro or Server. I had expected the new version to be installed over the previous version, but that did not happen. Do I need to keep the previous version or can I safely uninstall it?

All versions have independent data and installations and don't conflict when they occur together on the same machine. Moreover, the newer versions of GBM include all the facilities and features that are in the previous version and much more. Also, each version can restore data and import jobs from its preceding version. So there are no restrictions on uninstalling.
