its highly-anticipated Genie Backup Manager Pro 6.0 (GBM 6.0), which is the latest
version of its popular award-winning series of backup utilities.
Building on the success of its predecessors-especially Top Ten Reviews' gold-rated
backup utility GBM 5.0-GBM 6.0 introduces many improved features that are expected
to better position it to set new market standards for such applications.
Version 6.0's new features include the very useful differential backup option, which
will be present in the software, alongside GBM's traditional backup options-normal,

support for more tape brands and models, while carrying advanced features for better
reliability and optimized performance.
GBM 6.0 also employs the same cutting-edge features that made GBM 5.0 such a great
success among users, as it uses the same encryption, open file management, support
for visual accessibility, while it enhances the cataloging through an advanced search
facility.
In an attempt to reach a new level of data safety, GBM 6.0 also enables users to
carry out a cyclic redundancy check to verify data reliability, while offering them
the option to perform backup simulation to the inserted CD/DVD media to test whether
the backup task will be carried out successfully, before committing data to the
media.
