Removing Genie Timeline Disaster Recovery virtual partition

SYMPTOMS:

Genie Timeline 2.0 gives the users the ability to create a virtual partition to work as a Disaster Recovery start-up disk. If you want to uninstall it, please refer to the following:

  1. Start Genie Timeline >Tools > Create Disaster Recovery start-up disk.

  2. Click on “Virtual partition installed. Click here to uninstall”.

If the direct above method didn’t work, please try the following:

  1. Refer to the following link to download a program called "EasyBCD":
    http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/OS-Enhancements/EasyBCD.shtml

  2. Open EasyBCD > Click on "Edit Boot Menu" > Under “Entry”, click on “Genie Disaster Recovery” then click on “Delete”.
