SYMPTOMS:

When running a scheduled backup job, the backup monitor doesn’t start minimized.

 
RESOLUTION:

To solve this issue, please:

(Windows 7 and Vista)

1. From Start menu > All programs > Accessories > System Tools > Click on Task.


2. In the left pane, double click on “Task Scheduler Library” and a list of all your scheduled tasks will appear in the middle of the screen.


3. Double click on the Genie Backup Manager (GBM) backup job that you want to edit and then go to the “Actions” tab.


4. In this window you will see a command, click on it then select “Edit”.


5. In the “Add arguments” field, Add the parameter “-h” (without quotations) to the end of the line and click OK.


6. From the window that will appear select “No”.


7. Exit Task Scheduler.

• From Start menu > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Scheduled task.


• Double click on the Genie Backup Manager (GBM) job that you want to edit.


• Under “Task” tab, add the parameter “-h” (without quotations) to the end of the line and click on Apply then OK.


• Close Scheduled task window.
